Quince balsamic vinegar: refined fruitiness
Our quince balsamic vinegar is a tribute to one of Europe's oldest cultivated fruits – the quince. Its aromatic depth, tart-sweet flesh, and floral fragrance make it a true delicacy. At the Adrian Manufactory, we refine this distinctive fruit using traditional methods: Fresh, hand-picked quinces are first used to make a fruit wine, which is then slowly fermented into vinegar in a multi-stage process. We then refine this vinegar with reduced quince juice to create a creamy balsamic vinegar – golden yellow, fragrant, and with remarkable depth of flavor.
Herbaceous, fruity, full-bodied
Adrian Quince Balsamic Vinegar impresses with its delicate sweetness and a clearly noticeable, yet gently integrated acidity. The gentle processing preserves the natural fruitiness of the quince, giving the balsamic vinegar a balanced, velvety profile. Compared to conventional quince vinegar, our balsamic vinegar has a higher fruit content – resulting in more body, more flavor, and a more pronounced presence on the plate. Its slightly syrupy consistency is a sign of quality and fruitiness, not added sugar.
Culinary ideas from the manufactory
Quince balsamic vinegar is incredibly versatile: it adds an elegant fruity note to autumnal salads with nuts and roasted pumpkin, pairs wonderfully with cheese (especially fresh goat's cheese or aged hard cheese), and expertly complements hearty game dishes. In fine cuisine, it serves as a base for jus or for glazing onions, root vegetables, or roasted fruit. Desserts also benefit from its aromatic depth: a few drops over vanilla ice cream, semolina pudding, or poached pears – a moment of pure indulgence with character.
Furthermore, it is suitable for creative aperitifs: with mineral water, ice cubes and a slice of apple or orange, an alcohol-free fruit vinegar drink is created that surprises and delights.
Craftsmanship with heritage
At Adrian Manufaktur, quality takes precedence over quantity. For our quince balsamic vinegar, we use no industrially pressed concentrates or flavorings. Instead, we work with regionally sourced quinces from orchards, careful fermentation, and natural consolidation. Each bottle is the result of patience, handcrafted work, and a genuine passion for good food.
Please store in a cool, dry place away from light to preserve the full flavor of the quince.
